Increasing dissolved oxygen in Fresh water lakes

Lakes are being starved of oxygen

  • Proper aeration is critical in restoring the dissolved oxygen in a lake.
  • Aerators can also be placed at intervals around the lake and solar powered feed high DO water to the bottom of the lake.
  • Aerators have a very long life and should provide inexpensive holistic and unobtrusive remediation to any body of water.
  • In combination with reactors, we can reach the deepest parts of a lake and introduce proper dissolved oxygen. In this case surface water would be pumped down into depth.
  • The aerator can be used for surface odor and pathogen control as the unit develops Reactive Oxygen Species and some Chlorine from naturally occurring Chlorides ( CaCl₂,  MgCl₂, NaCl, KCl)

In combination with Aerobic bacteria and boat mounted aerators. long or short term solutions

Dissolved Oxygen generation

Odor Control

  • A temporary fix to ridding noxious decaying algae odor in a lake in summer months
  • Not a complete solution but would decrease pathogen risks to humans
