Electro-Aeration® is pleased to announce a new proprietary innovation based on Mike Green's granted patent: 11040305 (uspto.gov) "Apparatus and method for eliminating hydrogen sulfide, iron sulfide, and other sulfhydryl compounds from gas and/or liquids " This new filing will reflect the advances we have made since that seminal patent.
This patent's underlying technology and Electro-water separation Method and apparatus for an expandable industrial waste water treatment system .
For further patent history please check. Nicholas Eckelberry - Google Scholar Both of these unencumbered and unassigned patents are available for sale.
Our new technological advance potentially blends the existing vorticial patent with new geometry, plate configuration and anodic acid washes to counter the harsh produced and frac water potential for passivation.
These new trade secret improvements also deal with a potential Disinfection By Products' generation in the original technology by adding a Redox reaction step through the introduction of Oxygen Reaction Species and Hydrogen Reducing compounds at the polish-final stage. DBP can contaminate a formation and should be avoided.
In addition to handling FeS, H2S, DBP and SRB, the innovation addresses:
1. Slick water: an alleged cause of earthquakes around disposal wells. This new process will remove most traces of oil and grease prior to disposal.
2. Handling of Naturally Occurring Radioactive Material (NORM) such as Radium and Barium in produced/frac water.
3. Easier to manufacture reactor tubes. Less Capital costs.
4. Lowered operational costs and smaller footprint.
5. Modular unit capability for offshore platforms.
6. No per barrel fee: units are sold either as containerized or fixed systems, and the operator gains access to huge costs savings in biocide/remediation Chemicals.
Feel free to contact us for further laboratory reports.
Electro-Aeration looks forward to global licensing-sale of the existing patent and its innovations in the Permian, Bakken, Kern, and other global water treatment companies.
